The VibeTet’s new album, Lovely Night, is almost here and will arrive, as rumored, in your digital world on Valentine’s Day, next week! Physical CDs will begin shipping soon after, on February 20th. You can pre-order both versions now at the link above.

This new album was recorded on January 13th, 2018 in Austin and includes Lack’s Jazz Suite From La La Land, an eight movement arrangement of themes from the hit Warner Brothers motion picture. The track listing also includes a new composition by Lack (Slangin’) as well as the only officially licensed recording of Lack’s arrangement of Hotline Bling (Drake). Accept no substitutes!

New album from Aaron Lack’s VibeTet now available for pre-order

Aaron Lack’s VibeTet returns to Central Market in North Austin. The group performs jazz and soul music old and new featuring the voice and vibraphone of Aaron Lack. The show is free and family friendly with food available along with a large playground for the kids.

The VibeTet will be appearing at The Cafe’ at Central Market West Gate (South Austin, TX) from noon until 3pm on Sunday, August 20th. Musical selections will include past audience favorites in addition to Lack’s recently released material and reharmonizations from the hit movie, La La Land. This performance will feature drummer, Ernie Durawa, bassist, Pat Harris, new comer to the group, Shawn Ellison, on piano, along with Aaron Lack on vibraphone and voice.

Grab a kale salad or bison burger paired with your favorite wine or craft brew and celebrate the summer in the location’s air conditioned performance and dining space.

This event is free and open to all ages, but seating is limited and available on a first come, first served basis.
